An Arcade evening across the atlas

If I sit with this desk for an hour I do not “play six games.” I open six cards. The evening is a reading order. The binaries stay on Apple’s side of the link.

First twenty minutes: the horizon

Sky Force. 4.7 from 2,062. 9+. A portrait still. Store copy about squadrons and bosses. I am looking at a listing that has been allowed to be old (2014) and is still being patched (May 2026). That calm is why it is rank 1. I do not need a hosted build to see the silhouette.

The henpire hour

Chicken Invaders Universe is the card that wants more of my evening than it has ratings to justify. 32 voices. A galaxy. DLC named like episodes. Advertising on the age panel. The landscape still is the only wide screenshot on the homepage grid; it makes the rank look like a different object from the portrait phones around it. That is useful. Atlases should show the paper the maps were printed on.

Lanes, floes, idle steel

Raid Rush is where the evening stops being a shooter magazine. 54,459 ratings is a crowd in the next room. Loot boxes are on the door. I read the advisory twice so I cannot claim later that I missed it. Icebreaker Fishing is the walk outside: 4+, version 0.1.0, last touched May 2025. Rush Defense is the walk back into a louder room: 17+, 466.1 MB, 4.9 from 508. I keep saying the denominator because the average alone would make rank 5 look like a coronation.

The salvo I cannot score

Moorhuhn Invasion offers ninety seconds and a 800-point bonus line, and then the US card goes quiet. Zero ratings. I end the evening there on purpose. If I ended on Sky Force, the atlas would feel like a poster. Ending on an empty sample is the desk’s way of admitting what it does not know.

What I take off the table

I do not take a file. I do not take a leaderboard login. I take six dated passports and the knowledge that tomorrow’s App Store may already disagree. The install, if it happens, happens there.
